Seeds of Change Campaign

The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation (GRACF) is celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year and is hosting a First Friday Art Walk event on June 7, 2024, from 4-7pm at the Community Foundation, 350 NW 1st Avenue, Suite E, Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Akre Homestead will be displaying and selling their inspired soaps, apothecary products and other items. There will be live music by Dan Rigoni of Rapids Radio from 4:30-6:30pm, and beverages and appetizers will be served.
This event is also to highlight our Seeds of Change Campaign, which will benefit GRACF and local nonprofits. GRACF will be displaying photos and descriptions of their outstanding work and what they would like to do in the future. This showcase will provide a unique opportunity to learn more about the initiatives making a difference in our community, from providing essential services to starting new initiatives. The community will have an opportunity after June 7th to vote for one of these nonprofits and enable them the chance to receive extra funding through the Seeds for Change campaign.
There will also be an opportunity to donate to the Seeds of Change Campaign and support local nonprofits. For those donating on or before June 7th, you will have an opportunity to win two tickets to Rialto Festival which will take place the next day, June 8th, at Rapids Brewing. The drawing will be held at 7pm at the GRACF First Friday event on June 7th. You can donate online at the following link:
