Lumberjack Mile & 5k

The annual Lumberjack Mile & 5K provides the community and visitors a family-friendly run on Saturday morning, September 7, 2024, benefiting United Way programs in Itasca County. The lumberjack-themed fun run features a scenic loop with natural green spaces along either side of the stunning Mississippi River.

8 AM Registration Opens
9 AM Race Begins/Ends at Grand Rapids Public Utilities (500 Fourth St SE, Grand Rapids)
10 AM At the Finish Line, celebrate with us with DJ, post-race snacks, and a cold beer compliments of local breweries.
10:30 AM Presentation of Awards for top finishers of the 5K division and “best dressed”
11 AM Event Concludes
