Itasca Community Television Inc., is a non-profit organization established to provide local content to area TV cable television providers. It is funded by a service agreement with the Grand Rapids Area Cable Commission, grants, service fees and memberships.

Fun Annual Report Facts

I can't say I approach the prospect of writing an annual report with great enthusiasm, but when I get right down to it, I always find a few gems. This year is no exception. Here they go: Our volunteers (camera people, hosts, guests) gave ICTV gave 1,160 hours of their time to make public access television strong in 2009. Our big month was March when 52 people volunteered. Time wise, however, the big month was May when we had 114.7 volunteer hours. ICTV and its community partners produced 1,575 hours of programming. AND---Darcey put together 772 community bulletins for our Information Central channel and the Northern Community Internet site. We will celebrate all this and more at the Annual Membership Meeting and Luncheon Tuesday. Last minute reservations welcome at givemn.org search word ICTV or by calling 327-5866.
