Itasca Community Television Inc., is a non-profit organization established to provide local content to area TV cable television providers. It is funded by a service agreement with the Grand Rapids Area Cable Commission, grants, service fees and memberships.

The Grand Rapids Planning Commission meetings are aired live on ICTV, and recorded for playback between meeting dates. The Planning Commission is a seven-member body comprised of citizens of Grand Rapids and citizens of areas scheduled for annexation into the City. The members are appointed to staggered four year terms. The Planning Commission holds a minimum of one regularly scheduled meeting per month, at the City Hall, on the first Thursdays, at 4:00 pm.
