The Grand Rapids - Itasca County Airport Commission meetings are recorded by ICTV for playback between their monthly meetings. The purpose of the Grand Rapids – Itasca County Airport Commission is to provide guidance to the Airport Manager, planning services, and the strategic oversight of the airport. The Airport Commission represents, and speaks for, the airport owners – The City of Grand Rapids and Itasca County. The Airport Commission consists of 6 members (3 appointed by the Grand Rapids City Council and 3 appointed by the Itasca County Board of Commissioners), appointed for a 3-year term. Commission members must either be residents of the City of Grand Rapids or Itasca County. Meetings are generally scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Airport Terminal Building.
