The Music Man

The Myles Reif Performing Arts Center was the stage for the Grand Rapids Players production of “The Music Man.” Two Rivers Video staff was in the audience on the night of November 20 to record the performance. The show featured bright costumes, live orchestral music, spirited singing, and fun for all in attendance. You can see this performance on ICTV’s Public Access Channel in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our schedule to tune in for the fun!

Ready, Set, Go!

With Truth-In-Taxation public hearings to holiday programs, December is an especially busy month for ICTV staff. Along with the normal government meetings there’s always a flurry of extra programs dedicated to celebrating the holidays.  Staff has already covered the Grand Rapids Area Male Chorus performance on Sunday and this Saturday staff will be videotaping the Reif Dance performance of the Nutcracker. Throw in some school programs and we’ve got a lot to cover before Christmas rolls around.  Stay tuned throughout the month to help boost your holiday spirit!

GRPD Chronicles

The GRPD Chronicles crew came back to the ICTV  studio Friday morning to record another episode. Hosts Greg Lease and Andy Morgan talked with Sgt. Heath Smith, State Trooper Tyler Lusignan, Grand Rapids High School Truancy Officer Tracy Rabers, and Kim Geislinger of Ross Resources. We also recorded the Police Chief Scott Johnson in the Chief's Corner and also observed a Sgt. Bob Stein incident captured at City Hall in the Comedy Corner segment.
