From the ICTV Archives

Each Wednesday at 5:30 pm and Saturday at 3:00pm, ICTV plays programs from the archives on the Public Access Channel. Coming up on Saturday, July 7, we will be replaying the 2017 Tall Timber Days Parade. The following week, July 11 and July 14, will feature: “We Are All Criminals,” followed by the Grand Rapids Players Summer Theatre Kids’ Camp production of Peter Pan from June of 2015. A Trip Down Memory Lane

All summer long, ICTV will be airing the 2018 Summer Concert Series on its Public Access Channel. This week’s concert is, “A Trip Down Memory Lane”. Performed at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, this concert showcases iconic Love Songs and Broadway Hits from the 1930’s-1960’s performed by Dan and Karin Wickman on piano and vocals. You can see the 2018 Summer Concert Series every Friday at 7PM. Be sure to check ICTV’s schedule for more air dates and times in the future as well as other concerts featured throughout the summer. 

Diabetes Prevention and Management

The latest presentation in Grand Itasca’s “Doc Talk” series took place on Tuesday, June 19 at the Itasca County Family YMCA. The presenter was Michelle Overbye, NP. She discussed the prevention and management of diabetes. During her presentation she covered: the prevalence of diabetes, how it is diagnosed, the risk factors, the symptoms, and also the most important things you can do for prevention and management. ICTV staff was in the audience to record this presentation.
