Each Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm, ICTV pulls programs out of the archive of past productions and plays them on the Public Access Channel. Coming up on Saturday, June 17, we will be replaying the 2016 Reif Dance Spring Show – Aladdin. This will be followed by the Hobbies, Inc. episode, “Beef for the Grill.” The following week, June 24, will begin with the Grand Rapids Area Library Program, “Pushing Chain.” This will be followed by two episodes of Hobbies, Inc. all about jello. Keep an eye on ICTV’s schedule to see what’s coming out of the archive next.

Commercial Scale Pasture-Raised Eggs

Recently, the Grand Rapids Area Library held a program about the first commercial scale pasture-raised egg company in the Upper Midwest. “Locally Laid,” is the name of the company, and also the book written by Lucie Amundsen about her adventures starting the company with her husband. During her presentation, Lucie read excerpts from the book and showed pictures detailing some of the highlights of her entertaining, and educational, adventure into the world of chickens.
