The latest presentation in Grand Itasca’s “Doc Talk” series took place on Tuesday, February 21 at the Itasca County Family YMCA. The presenters were third year medical students, Carter Rohling and Kelly McKinnon. The pair gave a presentation on Alzheimer’s Disease. During their presentation they talked about: what Alzheimer’s Disease looks like at it’s different stages, what are the risk factors, what treatments are available to help those suffering from it, and more. The topic of Caregiver Fatigue was also touched upon. ICTV staff was in the audience to record this presentation. You can see it on ICTV’s Public Access Channel on Thursday, March 2 at 7:00pm.
