Vintage Aprons

Mary Mulari came to the Grand Rapids Area Public Library this week to have a show and tell about vintage aprons. These traditional garbs bring out fond memories and stories of women from the past who used them. Aprons tell women’s history through a common garment cover-up that might too often be forgotten.

From the ICTV Archives

Each Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm, ICTV plays programs from the archives on the Public Access Channel. Coming up on Saturday, February 17, we will be replaying two Grand Rapids Area Library programs: “Autism Awareness,” and “The Lowdown on Eating Disorders from the Trenches.” The following week, February 24, will feature “Music on the River,” from June of 2009. Keep an eye on ICTV’s schedule to see what’s coming out of the archive next.
